It sounds like many people never attempted to read Dr. Garcias article but have created a straw man. If they had read even the scholarship he proposed in 2009 they would have found out that he is trying to create conversation on evidence he has found. I have not found one clear indication on how this goes against the inerrancy of the Bible. It sounds like it goes against the “inerrancy of a view about Jesus nails,”
If there’s anything I consider the Christian media version of a wolf in sheep’s clothing, it’s CT. Hiring Russell Moore was my tipoff, so I was late to the game.
Everyone needs to chill down. Why can’t we be allowed to have a diversity of views? This is why I am no longer an Evangelical and hanging by a Christian thread. The god of whom I conceive is much bigger than arguments about nails or ropes. I applaud CT for the initial article and loudly boo for them apologizing.
Wow, I’m not a “Jesus is coming back tomorrow” type of guy, but Jesus did predict “there will be false Christs and false prophets“ in the latter days. “I never knew you“ comes to mind as well.
ummm- THIS is what Christians are up in arms about? SMH

Was that the one that denied Jesus was nailed to the cross? Yeah—they SHOULD apologize and fire the writer.

'99% of the people'? Who are the one percent?
