YouTuber and Journalist Tyler Oliveira recorded himself crashing one of prosperity preacher Benny Hinn’s services, crying out that he’s a ‘false prophet’ before being viciously accosted by event security.
Oliveira, who is known for interviewing cult members, gang members, and individuals with extreme lifestyles (i.e., I Interviewed the Most Racist Black People in America) recently traveled the country and attended several services by purveyors of the prosperity gospel, including Kenneth Copeland, Joel Osteen, and Benny Hin, in his video I Exposed the Most Corrupt Churches in America.
Hinn is an arch-heretic who is known for engaging in outrageous money manipulations, such as explicitly claiming direct revelation from God and telling folks that God wants some people to give him $1000 or even $10,000 and that giving him only $10 is an “insult” to God. Or there was the time he offered invitations to his birthday party for $5000 a person. Recently, his reputation has taken an even greater hit after a recent 4-hour exposé by Mike Winger brought his bad behavior into greater and more widespread public light.
In the video, Olivera jumps up on stage and exclaims, “Benny Hinn is a false prophet, a fake healer and snake oil salesman…he is abusing the word of God!'” before getting tackled and dragged off, decrying the rough treatment by security.
Furthermore, the photographer was also accosted by the guards, accusing them of beating him, throwing him into the street, and deleting footage on the SD card of his camera, not knowing that they had a redundant backup. (Watch the full video at his channel for that clip)
Props to the camera man for taking that beating 😬
