Ministry Watch has compiled a list of the top 100 highest-paid Christian college and university executives, deriving the information from publicly filed Form 990 documents.
Unsurprisingly, they are well compensated, with no one in the top 10 making less than $1.5M, and no one in the top 20 making less than $1M.
Notably, the list consists almost exclusively of athletic coaches and presidents, with a special shout out to Baylor University, which has nabbed five of the top 10 highest positions, including the top spot, compensating basketball coach Scott Drew $5,410,061, nearly a million dollars more in total compensation than the next closest competitor.
Wow! We can sure tell where the priorities are even in Christian colleges.
