With nary a whimper or a sound, and especially with no explanation or public comment on why it was done, Steven Furtick has deleted a troubling tweet that gained him a lot of attention, much of it unwanted.
The post, which has been scrubbed from his Facebook page, was universally jeered by those with discernment and biblical knowledge of what the bible says, with many quoting 2 Corinthians 5:17 ‘Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new‘ as a counterpoimt, all the while his flock of supporters loved and ‘hearted’ the message, retweeting it and giving it the ‘100%’ emoticon.
