Soccer’s ‘Greatest goalkeepers of all time’ Wears John 14:6 Shirt Following Championship Win
Liverpool Football Club goaltender Allison Becker, who is widely regarded as one of the best goaltenders of all time, celebrated his club’s recent championship run by lifting the Premier League trophy wearing a shirt with John 14:16 prominently emblazed across the front.
During the victory celebration, Becker, unlike the other teammates who kept their red team jerseys on, wore a shirt that read “Jesus: the way, the truth, the life’ paraphrasing the famous bible verse.
Jesus states, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
Becker is a devout Pentecostal Christian and has held baptisms in his pool, including for fellow teammates.
