Rep. Andy Harris: No Need For The Naturally Immune to Take the Vaccine

Rep. Andy Harris (R-Md.) told NTD’s Capitol Report that the immunity conferred by COVID-19 infection and recovery has by now been shown to be superior to the protection given by COVID-19 vaccines.
The CDC is continuing to encourage universal vaccination, even among those who have been previously naturally infected and recovered. Yet close to one hundred research studies demonstrate the durable immunity acquired through natural infection and recovery.
Harris, who is a physician, says in the interview, “we really don’t know what the long-term consequences are,” adding that the risk to children from COVID-19 is “akin to a normal flu season.”
He goes on to say that, “The science is becoming very clear. Naturally-acquired immunity actually is better than vaccine-acquired immunity.”
