Planned Parenthood Complains There Are No Abortions Being Done in Texas After Prolife Bill. Why Not Montana?
As a result of the law being passed, Texas Right to Life estimates that between 10,000 and 13,000 babies have been saved
Six months after Texas enacted the most restrictive abortion ban in the country, which bans abortion after a heartbeat can be detected and makes it possible for anyone to sue any doctor who murders a baby in the womb, Planned Parenthood, the apex predator of the baby-killing world, released several messages on social media decrying the fact that abortion has become “virtually inaccessible” in the state.
As a result of the law being passed, Texas Right to Life estimates that between 10,000 and 13,000 babies have been saved from being murdered in the state. The most recent tweet came the same week that Montana Judge ruled that certain nurses and midwives can perform abortions, and a month after he issued a joint advisory on another law so far unmolested by progressive activists.
As it stands, AG Austin Knudsen is currently embroiled in several court cases with Planned Parenthood, who is seeking to stop a raft of pro-life laws coming into effect that we have on the books. These laws are nowhere near strict as the Texas ones, so they do little They ban abortions after 20 weeks (the overwhelming majority of abortions happen before this, so this pointless, make abortionists have to ask the women if they want to see an ultrasound before the procedure, and make it harder to get birth control pills and limit the ability of insurance to cover the procedures.
While these are an improvement, this is NOWHERE new good enough. If Texas can do it and see stunning results, withstanding a challenge to the Supreme Court who ruled in their favor, why can’t we? Let’s follow their lead if we have to and enact the same legislation that they did. There is no reason not to. Given that Republicans have a supermajority in the House and Senate, we would urge our legislators to not only follow Texas’ lead but to leapfrog them altogether, abolishing abortion completely and purposefully inviting the full force and wrath of Martha Stahl and Planned Parenthood upon the state to do battle with.
