Missoula MT: Fort Harrison Veteran’s Hospital Celebrates 100 Years!
Previously known as Veterans Hospital No. 72, the hospital has given Montana’s veterans healthcare for the last 100 years
MISSOULA, Mont. — The Fort Harrison Veterans Hospital is celebrating its 100th anniversary starting at 10 a.m. on May 20.
Previously known as Veterans Hospital No. 72, the hospital has given Montana’s veterans healthcare for the last 100 years, since the original Fort Harrison Army Post was established in 1895.
The Montana VA Health Care System is hosting a health fair, along with live music and an Emergency Services parade, followed by tours of Fort Harrison parade grounds.

Events will take place as follows:
10 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Health Fair with live music
11 a.m. to 12 p.m. – 100th Anniversary Ceremony
12:15 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. – Emergency Services parade (around the parade grounds)
12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. – Campus Tours by Last Chance Tour Train
