Jackie Hill Perry Favorably Quotes Infamous Racist Louis ‘Jews are Termites’ Farrakhan
Leaving twitter?
Jackie Hill Perry has announced that she’s leaving Twitter, with The Gospel Coalition’s resident ‘gaytheist’ explaining that she’s deactivating her account on account of being ‘wore out’, but will still be posting to Instagram.
This is a good thing. When you look at her inflammatory track record over the last year, from reveling in her love of an R-rated, filthy TV show, saying that all white people are racists, that white people only care about black folk in the womb and renouncing ‘anti-prosperity gospel’ film while embracing woo-woo theology, it’s clear the less influence she has the better.
Before she left though, one of the last missives she sent out was a post giving props to Louis Farrakhan.
Farrakhan is the leader of the Nation of Islam (NOI) the largest Black Nationalist Organization in the United States, claiming about 50,000 members. It is also a religious movement that functionally serves as the mirror to the KKK- a black supremacist hate group that routinely preaches anti-Semitism and racial prejudice against white people, teaching that black folk are naturally and innately superior.
The organizer of the Million-Man March, some of his more controversial quotes include:
“White people are potential humans – they haven’t evolved yet.”
“Call me a hater, you know how they do — call me an anti-Semite. Stop it, I’m anti-termite.”
He mixes these with some more congenial ones, such as:
“There really can be no peace without justice. There can be no justice without truth. And there can be no truth unless someone rises up to tell you the truth.”
Of course, we can’t help but imagine the outcry if we or other prominent Christian conservatives tried that, quoted the Grand Wizard of the KKK or some other current personality like David Duke or Richard Spencer for some true and relatively benign thing they said while qualifying “say what you want about them, (and there is a lot to say) but this is facts….”
The priviledge to be able to get away with this is astounding, but unsurprising.
