Dante Bowe Is Back With New Single, New Label, and New Concerts after Nude Selfie Scandal
Disgraced singer Dante Bowe is back in the limelight and ready to rock and roll, according to a new puff-piece interview with CBN News, revealing that he’s been busy since being dumped with Maverick City Music.
Not only did he release his new single ‘Hide Me’ in the middle of New York’s Time Square on ABC’s Good Morning America just a few days ago, but he started up his record label called True Music where he has a new album in the works that is set to be released in a few months.
He already has several shows ready to go, performing in Richmond County on January 13, and now headlining Rock the Universe on January 28. This is Orlando’s biggest Christian music festival, where he will be performing with Bethel Music, Rend Collective (very problematic band) , Skillet, and Mathew West. Bowe told CBN News:
“I mean, it’s been an incredible journey the last few months. I feel healthier than ever. Better than ever. Brighter than ever. Feel closer to God. Yeah, I’m good…
You know, God’s going to use people and things to catapult you into your next step. So, I don’t think it was like something that shouldn’t have happened. I think it should have happened because now I have this incredible team. I’ve rebuilt my infrastructure with the most incredible people and most incredible producer, John John, who’s helped me release Hide Me, and this entire album Press Play.
I don’t think that would have happened if, you know, just certain things didn’t occur. The trials are not in vain. Nothing is wasted. Nothing’s in vain.”
Several months ago, Bowe was kicked out of the Grammy-winning worship band Maverick City music after demonstrating “behavior inconsistent with our core values and beliefs.”
Though no specific cause was given, it was reported by many that he was axed for partying and singing the Bad Bunny song “Despues De La Playa,” a Spanish song with filthy lyrics that caused the band no end of controversy. Our exclusive investigation, however, reveals that he wasn’t asked to leave the group simply for those speculated reasons but because he accidentally posted sexually explicit material of himself online, revealing a hidden life incompatible with one of the biggest worship bands on the planet.
Dante would later release a non-apology that he quickly deleted (but not before we obtained a screenshot of it where he does not admit to any wrongdoing, only that his behavior “offended many people.” As a result of his termination from Maverick City Music, he cancelled his ‘Joyful Tour.’
Unfortunately, Dante’s reasons for his termination have not gained widespread publicity and many are not aware of why he was let go, giving Bowe the opportunity to step back into his life like nothing’s ever happened.
