Congressman Rosendale Files for Re-Election in Montana’s 2nd Congressional District
“Now more than ever, it’s obvious that Democrat leadership in Washington doesn’t care how their actions impact everyday Montanans—"
(Helena, Mont.)—Montana’s Congressman, Matt Rosendale, filed his paperwork today with the Montana Secretary of State’s office to seek re-election to Montana’s new, 2nd Congressional District, which spans the central and eastern part of the state.
“It’s been an honor to serve the people of Montana in Congress over the past year, and I am humbly asking for their support once again as I campaign for re-election in Montana’s 2nd Congressional District,” said Rosendale. “Now more than ever, it’s obvious that Democrat leadership in Washington doesn’t care how their actions impact everyday Montanans—and I hope that the people of our state will allow me to continue to stand up for their individual liberties and fight back against the out-of-control spending and government overreach in Washington D.C.”
During his first year in Congress, Matt Rosendale has been a steadfast opponent of vaccine mandates, unnecessary government spending, and tax increases—voting against the massive spending bills proposed by the Biden Administration and gaining recognition as a no-nonsense conservative that is willing to take a stand on tough issues.
“When I ran for office, I promised the people of Montana that I would vote to represent them and make the difficult decisions, regardless of which way the political winds are blowing—and that’s what I have done,” continued Rosendale. “Montana is truly the Last Best Place, it is my honor to fight to keep it that way, and I am once again asking for the support of the people of Montana this coming November to allow me to keep up the fight.”
