Canadian Govt. Introduces Bill to Criminalize Gay Conversion Therapy, Even Among Consenting Adults
If convicted of either promoting it, advertising it, or practicing it, proponents could face up to two years in prison.

The corrupt Canadian government- basically a colder California, had its governing party introduced a bill on Monday that would ban conversion therapy and make it illegal to practice it and advertise for it within the country. And not just for youth and children under the age of 17, but also amongst consenting adults.
The new bill, introduced by the Liberal party, would criminalize any and all attempts to offer therapy to try to change a person’s gender identity or sexual orientation through therapy or counseling. This is despite the fact that the same people pushing this bill insist that these things are both fluid and malleable, and may shift over time.
If convicted of either promoting it, advertising it, or practicing it, proponents could face up to two years in prison.
In a background document posted on the Justice Department’s website: the government explains:
(Bill C-6) ..expands on the previous proposed legislation to protect all Canadians—regardless of their age—from the harms of conversion therapy practices and to promote the dignity and equality of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and Two-Spirit (LGBTQ2) persons.”

Simply put: if a person struggling with being gay or bisexual on their own accord and free will, voluntarily seeks counseling and therapy with the hopes of shifting their orientation towards heterosexuality or into becoming ‘cisgender,’ and that therapist agrees to take them on as a client, that therapist can be arrested and thrown into prison.
There are not expected to be any religious exemptions for pastors or religious leaders, which would also make it illegal for pastors to offer biblical counseling to anyone struggling with same-sex attraction or feeling like a man trapped in a woman’s body, and vice versa.
The bill is expected to pass before the end of the year, as it has the support of the vast majority of politicians and from all leaders of all the political parties.
