Breaking! Abolitionist Pastor Dusty Deevers Wins Bid for State Senate, Defeats Dem Foe
Staff Writer
Abolitionist Pastor Dusty Deevers has won his bid to become an Oklahoma state senator, defeating Democrat opponent Larry Bush 55.47% to 44.52% in a race seen as a victory for true principled conservatism.
Deevers is a Southern Baptist who pastors Grace Community Church of Elgin, OK, and has been active in the SBC by pushing, pulling, and dragging the kicking and screaming denomination into a more faithful position on abortion abolition through his actions at the General Conferences and interactions with SBC president Bart Barber, whose behavior towards Deevers has been abhorrent.
He is also the Executive Producer of “A Storm Comes Rolling Down the Plain” and Vice President of Rescue Those.
Notably, during the campaign, Deever’s opponents ran ads against him featuring quotes from SBC President Bart Barber, who accused Deevers of being obsessed with sending 16-year-old girls to prison.
