Bishop T.D. Jakes Suffers Medical Emergency During Church Service
Famed Trinity-denier and prosperity-gospel advocate T.D. Jakes, 67, saw his sermon cut short after he experienced a medical emergency during the middle of this morning’s service, stopping his message, dropping his mic, and involuntarily shaking and spasming until he was rushed to by staff and leaders- resulting in the live feed being cut.
A message shared from his church following the incident read:
During today’s service, Bishop T.D. Jakes experienced a slight health incident and received immediate medical attention following his powerful hour long message. Bishop Jakes is stable and under the care of medical professionals. The entire Potter’s House family is grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support from the community.
Thank you for your understanding and continued prayers.
We’ve recently written about Jakes when he noted how he disgraced his wife with his twerking comments, joined Joel Osteen for a conference where tickets cost $1000.00 , and is known to frequently wear insanely expensive designer shoes, clothes and watches that cost more than many of his congregants make in a year.
Jakes, who has continued to be platformed by those at the Christian Post and Charisma News, as well as most other evangelicals like Steven Furtick and Christine Caine, has gone on record saying he doesn’t believe that Jesus is the second person of the Trinity but rather is just a “manifestation” of God. In fact, even now, his church website reads, “There is one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in three manifestations: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.”
