1 in 8 Christian College and Universities have Formal Ties to Planned Parenthood, Investigation Finds
Of note is that Planned Parenthood frequently appeared as a “student resource” or “internship opportunity”
An investigation launched by Students for Life into the relationship that professing Christian Colleges and Universities* in the United States have with abortion giant Planned Parenthood found that nearly 1 in 8 maintained some sort of relationship or partnership with them.
With the goal of this project to “raise public awareness of Christian schools maintaining relationships with planned parenthood in order to encourage infracting schools to restore their Christian values by cutting ties with the abortion giant” S4L investigated 784 educations of higher learning affiliated with Christian churches and found that 103 schools, with varying degrees of involvement or falling into one of these categories.
Planned Parenthood is listed as an active internship opportunity for which students may receive credit;
Planned Parenthood is listed as a student resource;
Planned Parenthood events are advertised on campus or on the website;
Planned Parenthood is listed as volunteer opportunity;
Planned Parenthood has partnered with the university on at least 1 event in the past year;
Planned Parenthood is listed as a future career opportunity
Of note is that Planned Parenthood frequently appeared as a “student resource” or “internship opportunity” and that by and large, Lutheran, Presbyterian, and Methodists schools made up the lion share of infracted schools, with a couple of Baptist churches here and there.
Student for Life reports that after they confronted the leadership of that school, 34 schools broke ties and removed those resources, and 69 schools refused to do so.
For example, 52%, or 1 in 2 of Lutheran Colleges and Universities they investigated had a relationship with Planned Parenthood, and after they were contacted about it, not a single one broke ties or altered the relationship in any way.

Editor’s Note. They include both Catholic and Protestant schools in their list, whereas we don’t recognize Roman Catholics as saved or in good standing with the Lord.
